A Psalm for the soul
Psalms 40
1 I waited patiently for the LORD;
he turned to me and heard my cry.
2 He lifted me out of the slimy pit,
out of the mud and mire;
he set my feet on a rock
and gave me a firm place to stand.
3 He put a new song in my mouth,
a hymn of praise to our God.
Many will see and fear the LORD
and put their trust in him.
You will never be astray.You will never be alone.
Compassionate beyond degrees our minds can conceive.
He will hear words you never say. He hears words you mutter in silence and darkness.
He will lift you out of the slimy pit.
It may be dirty,slimy,slippery and muddy.
But He will lift you up with His mighty hand.
Because Only He can.
He will not just lift you up.
He will set your feet on a firm rock.
He Himself is the strongest Rock.
He places you within Himself
The Highest strength.
He will put new songs in your mouth.
Not songs you knew earlier.
Not the self pity songs you sang to yourself.
New songs of Victory.
Because He won it all.for You.
Many will see and Know.
They will know HIM.
They will know who LOVE is.
They will know who COMPASSION is.
They will know who POWER is.
They will know who MAJESTY is.
They will know who MERCY is.
They will know who KINDNESS is.
They will know who SACRIFICE is.
They will know J E S U S
They will see GOD, and bow before Him.in quietness,hope and trust.
FOR THERE IS NONE LIKE HIM.
