In tune wid Heaven!

Its March!whoa!God has been opening new chapters in my life.This year God has been specifically working on one particular verse in my life very evidently and that is from Isaiah 26:3,4.
"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind has stayed on thee:because he trusteth in thee.Trust in the Lord for ever;for in the Lord JEHOVAH is everlasting strength"
One thing I realized during these first 3 months of 2009 is that you may listen to christian songs or sermons..hang around with christian people and keep talking about Jesus..which are very vital..but the one most important thing that is required is your time alone with God.Setting apart time whether it be an hour,half an hour or even 5 mins is THE MOST VALUABLE thing you need to experience in your life.In the beginning this seem really weird and boring..it may not make any sense to you..you may feel you're talking to the walls around you for 10 mins!But you do it every day,pour your heart before Him..God loves to hear from you.Find what connects you and God specially.There is not formula to spending time with God.It is just your expression of love..to get to know God much better and more personally.After a period of time,you get so addicted to the presence of God that you no longer have to keep wondering if anyone at all is listening to you.You just know for sure that you are in His presence.
Thats where I would relate the verse from the book of Isaiah.God fills your heart with peace,reassurance,love and long lasting satisfaction and you will wanna get back there again and again..There is nothing more worthy of your time than a minute with the God of this Universe...!
So get in tune with Heaven and keep the joy flowing!Amen!

Being Mommy

One of the first advice we received on becoming new parents to our beautiful child, as we reveled in the exuberant joy this boy brought was : 'Yes he is a huge blessing, but never take this for granted'. I sit here today 15 months after the birth of my first born, who we named Zachary because 'God has remembered' us in His goodness and enriched our lives for the best. As a new mother, I found myself in this new world that revolved around another human being(and still does) .I confess to have taken the words of other parents too lightly about my life taking a 180 degree turn. I didn't think my peaceful nights, quiet lunches, the 'me-time' including showers, dolling up, night outs, travels, dates would practically be non existent and that I would have to deliberately make time and put in extra efforts to make it happen. The good news is, you eventually learn tricks and what works best for you and it all functions in a completely new way. I am much blesse...
