Im in Love...Forever!!!!!

Love stories always brings the story of Cinderella to the minds of many many girls I'm sure.Many many girls wait for the "One".I was one among them.I waited for 20 yrs for Mr.Prince Charming!seriously!!In fact I went hunting for them (in case they never came by!!!)..I always placed myself in Cinderella's shoes and imagined all my situations to be like hers.With a wretched step mother and horrid step-sisters.So obviously a Prince had to come to save me from such dreadful circumstances.
Every 'passer-by' went through the screening test in my eyes.Few qualified.Many didn't.So Many ignored me!Anyways I was still left as empty(or even more empty actually)than I started.With all the painful neglect,I felt worthless.It wasn't worth living anymore.It was getting easier to smile superficially.Then my eyes opened to see a letter written to me by someone I never knew.It was Jeremiah 31:3."I have loved you with an everlasting love;I have drawn you with loving-kindness".Who is this?Who can love me with everlasting love?
It was at the foot of the cross that I found my answer.It was the love of God which was shown for me on the cross.I was worthless when I met Him.He changed me into precious.I was guilty when He came into my life.Today I'm forgiven.I was hungry.Ate from the wrong places at the wrong times.He satisfied my heart to the fullest.My heart was void when He came into it.But today He has flooded it with His love.Thats my Jesus!!!Today morning I opened my eyes and I heard a soft voice in my ears...telling me "I love you".God is still writing my love story!!!Its not over yet..It is a covenant for eternity.He has never let go of me and He never will.He never gives up on me.He is more than just the 'One'.He is more than what I've asked for.
Hosea 2:19,20 says,"I will betroth you to Me forever; Yes, I will betroth you to Me in righteousness and in justice, In lovingkindness and in compassion,"Jesus loves intensely,passionately,personally.Everyday I see how much more He loves me.
So many of you out there search all the wrong places just to know how it is like to be loved.You might have ended up in all the possible wrong places.But there is Hope.Jesus died for you and rose up from the dead for you to live a complete,joy-filled,satisfied life.So many of us get satisfied with the drain water when the overflowing fresh fountains have been opened for you by the One who created you.You don't need to live life that way.Jesus paid the price for your smiles.He has taken it all on Himself.Jesus loves you much more than you will ever know!!You may be broken but Jesus can change you into Beautiful if you will just let Him..!!

Being Mommy

One of the first advice we received on becoming new parents to our beautiful child, as we reveled in the exuberant joy this boy brought was : 'Yes he is a huge blessing, but never take this for granted'. I sit here today 15 months after the birth of my first born, who we named Zachary because 'God has remembered' us in His goodness and enriched our lives for the best. As a new mother, I found myself in this new world that revolved around another human being(and still does) .I confess to have taken the words of other parents too lightly about my life taking a 180 degree turn. I didn't think my peaceful nights, quiet lunches, the 'me-time' including showers, dolling up, night outs, travels, dates would practically be non existent and that I would have to deliberately make time and put in extra efforts to make it happen. The good news is, you eventually learn tricks and what works best for you and it all functions in a completely new way. I am much blesse...
