When I was a child,I wouldn't ask my parents for anything I wanted..I would just wait for it to come by.I remember having wanted a Barbie doll for ages.I don't know why I couldn't ask for it.All my friends had it.I wanted it since I was in 4th grade.I got it when I was in 10th grade.A beautiful one..in a pink little dress and pink heels.That was a long wait.But I finally got it..the BEST one!
Wanted a maroon shirt since 12th grade.Waited so much for it,like an inner craving.Silent waiting.Got gifted with the exact type and shade during my third year of medicine..=)..
Received a lot of things even when I left them unsaid,unspoken,unexpressed...Jesus saw it all..He sees it all..
The tiny little cravings of my heart.Even when I've left it unsaid..Jesus knows exactly what my heart is talking about...and I love it cuz He gives the BEST cuz He is the BEST!
What and How God gives is a part of His nature.It's not because of anything that you and I are..It's His Love alone.The gifts He gives in our hands reflect HOW grand He Is..How splendid a Lover He is!
Don't run after what He gives,Look to His face..All that you need is in Him.Everything!
"He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all--how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?"(Romans 8:32).

Being Mommy

One of the first advice we received on becoming new parents to our beautiful child, as we reveled in the exuberant joy this boy brought was : 'Yes he is a huge blessing, but never take this for granted'. I sit here today 15 months after the birth of my first born, who we named Zachary because 'God has remembered' us in His goodness and enriched our lives for the best. As a new mother, I found myself in this new world that revolved around another human being(and still does) .I confess to have taken the words of other parents too lightly about my life taking a 180 degree turn. I didn't think my peaceful nights, quiet lunches, the 'me-time' including showers, dolling up, night outs, travels, dates would practically be non existent and that I would have to deliberately make time and put in extra efforts to make it happen. The good news is, you eventually learn tricks and what works best for you and it all functions in a completely new way. I am much blesse...
